Porto de Galinhas

    One of the most beautiful beach of Brazil is located in Ipojuca on Pernambuco's state. One of the most enchanted views are there. Firstly the beach was called Porto Rico because of its Pau Brazil abundance. It was also an illegal trade slave point in the Northeast. Often they come hidden in low crates of angola's chicken. Upon arrival of illegal slaves used to be announced by the phrase " there are chicken in port " 

    For this reason, Porto Rico becames known as Porto de Galinha. It becames a polo tourist from the early 90s. Clear and warm water pools are formed between coral, mangroves, white sand and coconut trees.  But much of its way is because to the set of reefs which is close to the edge.  

    It's an ideal place for turistic tours and surfing. Porto rico was elected the best brazilians beach by 10 consecutive times, by the travel and tourism magazine of april editors.
